LIMA, OH (WLIO) - It's a special group of people that can say they are cancer survivors, and today dozens of women came out to celebrate that.
The Ritz, located at 825 West Market Street in Lima, OH, has been assisting women going through cancer treatment for at least 75 years.

It's a store where you can find anything from jewelry to clothing and prosthetics. Thursday's celebration brought in some extra vendors to meet their needs and to educate them on new treatments.

"And so we have so many products that are going to help them through their journey with breast cancer. Whether that starts at post-surgical and it goes all the way through getting their prosthesis and also using bras and other garments for compression through lymphedema. So we've got things to cover their whole journey through their cancer treatments and then life after," said Karrie Lester, interim U.S. director of education for Amoena.
Everyone involved wants to make sure that women battling cancer know they are not alone in the fight.
"It's super important for me to be here. Oncology is my background. I have 11 years experience of mixing chemotherapy, working in a private practice, owning Replenish and Renew, just coming out with a new functional cancer program that we released yesterday. So high dose vitamin C, alpha-lipoic acid, so being able to offer Lima and the surrounding communities the IV treatments to help with and assist the oncologist in the fight against cancer," explained Emily Burns, a certified nurse practitioner.
