Three Part Blessing event held at Bradfield Center

Members of the community got a little help at the Bradfield Center on Tuesday.

The Three Part Blessing event was run by the Bradfield Center, the Neighborhood Relief Thrift Store, and other local volunteers. People in need throughout the community were invited for a hot meal and could take home donated winter apparel along with groceries. Those who helped to organize the event say that it makes a difference in the lives of those that they serve.

"Last year we had over 150 people and we had one particular young lady who just wanted a hat for when she was outside, she just wanted to stay warm, and we gave her four hats - it's things like that, those little things that we find small, that are very huge for them, so it's had a very big impact," said Tesha Banks, Program Coordinator for the Bradfield Center.

This is the second year that the Bradfield Center has held this event.
