In Mercer County, a routine traffic stop ends with a man behind bars.
Tuesday, Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey says deputies stopped 49-year-old Michael Toler on North Main Street in Celina. Toler's actions led the deputy to call for a drug dog. He had on him several packages of suspected meth as well as a pipe used to smoke it.
Toler was arrested on scene and taken to the Mercer County Detention Center, where he's held on charges of possession of a drug abuse instrument. His bond was set at $100,000. Further charges are expected, pending review by the Mercer County Prosecutor.
