4:05 PM Update:Â The Lima Police Department is currently investigating a pair of shootings that took place on Tuesday.
The first report came in at approximately 4:20 pm when officers were called to Mercy Health St. Rita's for a gunshot victim that arrived at the hospital. Cory Wright was identified as the victim, suffering from a single non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Four hours later at 8:22 pm, another shooting was called in at 455 Haller Street. Officers arrived and located Jevon Speller suffering from a non-life threatening single gunshot wound to the shoulder.
During the investigation into the Haller shooting, a seventeen-year-old was identified as the suspect and was then taken into custody.
Both incidents are currently under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lima police department or detective Boss at 419-227-4444.
