Following a tense night of searching, all three inmates that escaped from Allen Oakwood Correctional Institution in Lima have been found.
The most notorious of the three, school shooter T.J. Lane was found just across the road from the prison near Sugar Creek Church of the Brethern on Bluelick road. The second prisoner is 45 year old Clifford Opperud of Carlisle, Ohio. He was the last to be found of the three at about 4:30 this morning. He is in prison serving time for aggravated robbery, burglary and kidnapping. The third escapee is 33 year old Lindsey Bruce. Bruce was convicted of killing a five year old girl in 2004. He was captured shortly after escaping. The men have now been transferred to a super maximum facility in Youngstown. However, all three men face up to eight additional year for the escape attempt.
Allen Oakwood Correctional Institution is a minimum medium security prison with about 16 hundred inmates,, which is 200 over capacity.
An inspection report states that before last night's incident, there had been two attempted escapes since 2012.
