Not only could we see snow and ice sooner rather than later, but we will also soon see snowplows on roadways.
The Ohio Department of Transportation is prepping for another busy season in ensuring roadway conditions are safe when snow and ice come to the area. Throughout the state of Ohio, inspectors have been checking equipment this week in order to ensure that everything is up to date to battle the upcoming winter season.
It gives our operators a chance to go through the trucks and get refamiliar with the plows and the functions of it, and also the mechanics get a very good through inspection of the trucks to get us ready for winter," stated Brian Raeder, transportation manager.
Inspections are expected to continue in other areas into the coming weeks.
