St. Marys Rotary Club holding their weekly meeting Wednesday, inviting special guest Bonnie Mathies, Dean of Wright State University's Lake Campus. Dean Mathies spoke with those in attendance about changing times at Wright State University.
When the campus was established, associate degrees were the focus of students and campus officials. That focus has since changed, with 83 percent of the 1,300 students now seeking bachelor's degrees instead of associate degrees.
The Lake Campus is also excited to be in another year with 32 students enjoying on-campus living. A second apartment building is being built next to the current dorms, and come next Fall, 64 students will be able to live on campus.
