The Lima Rotary Club continues to get closer to their donations goal for the community stage and green space project.

Your Hometown Stations and two others make donations towards Rotary amphitheater project

Three more organizations announced donations to the Rotary Club's amphitheater project. Tuttle Construction has pledged $25,000 while HCF Management and Your Hometown Stations each donated $10,000. With the new $45,000, the club president says they sit near $800,000 raised out of their $2.2 million goal. Construction on the land between Spring and Elm streets began in September and grass has already been planted.

"It's just huge," Ken Dysert said, president of the Rotary Club. "We just got such momentum going with our amphitheater project right now. Couple weeks ago, the Greater Lima Region, they donated $250,000 to our project. We had three different organizations today that had mentioned what their donation is going to be as well."

Dysert added some more donation announcements will be made in the coming weeks.
