Public input shapes Lima’s plans to address speeding and cut-through traffic

The city of Lima is moving forward with its neighborhood traffic program after reviewing months of public feedback from residents.

Based on that feedback, the city developed a range of traffic-calming strategies aimed at improving safety and quality of life for residents. Proposed measures include high-visibility enforcement, raised crosswalks and other tools designed to slow traffic and discourage unnecessary through traffic.
