New Ohio high school volleyball rankings see New Bremen dominate, Marion Local rises

COLUMBUS — The latest Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association state rankings were released Monday, shaking up several divisions across the state.
In Division V, Versailles remained at No. 7 with one first-place vote. Ottawa-Glandorf made a significant jump, climbing seven spots to No. 11, while Liberty-Benton fell from 15th to 20th.
Division VI saw New Bremen strengthen its hold on the top spot, earning 22 first-place votes, up from 10 last week. Parkway slipped one spot, Tinora stayed at fourth, and St. Henry moved up to fifth. Coldwater follows closely behind, with Patrick Henry at No. 10. Marion Local made a big move, rising seven spots to No. 11, and Crestview entered the rankings at 16th.
In Division VII, Leipsic stayed at No. 2, while Russia jumped to the third spot. Fort Loramie climbed to fourth, while New Knoxville, Kalida, Miller City, and Ayersville all moved down. Ottoville gained three spots, tying with Ayersville at 14th, and Lehman Catholic made its first appearance at No. 17.
These rankings set the stage for an exciting stretch of the high school volleyball season as teams jostle for position heading into tournament play.
