WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta continued its dominance in the Western Buckeye League with a 42-7 win over St. Marys on Friday night, extending its league winning streak to 21 games.
Trailing 21-7 to start the second half, the Redskins got back on track when Caleb Moyer connected with Noah Bishop on a slant, finishing the drive with a 1-yard touchdown to make it 28-7.
The third quarter belonged to Wapakoneta. Moyer hit Bishop for a 38-yard score, then later found Gage Vaughn, who shrugged off two defenders and added a hesitation move to go 61 yards for another touchdown.
