Daniel was found guilty by a jury of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, and tampering with evidence. The charges stem from a 2020 shooting at Pappy's Lounge where Danielle Jackson was shot in the parking lot. Judge Kohlreiser addressed Daniel before handing down the sentence.

"You made bad decision after bad decision after bad decision," stated Todd Kohlrieser, Allen County Juvenile Court Judge. "Who you hung out with, who you were walking the streets with at 2 o'clock in the morning, bad decision going up to Mr. Jackson demanding money, bad decision by pulling the trigger multiple times ending his life, bad decisions after the fact, by selling or hiding the gun. That's not the right thing to do."

Daniel will receive a credit for 675 days that he has spent in custody.
