FINDLAY, OH (WLIO) - A Hancock County jury convicted A Texas man 2017 Findlay murder. Eric Reed was found guilty of aggravated murder and weapons charges for the death of 42-year-old Brian McQuistion in November of 2017. McQuiston was found dead by Findlay police officers in his apartment with a single gunshot wound to the head. Reed will be sentenced Tuesday and is facing life in prison for the conviction. According to the Findlay Courier, Reed killed McQuistion because he was an informant for the police about a drug investigation involving a person close to Reed.
