"One of the things is our courthouse we use for county government is not user friendly. So we're looking at possibly doing an upgraded version where county government can be conducted in a more safe and pleasant environment for our citizens and the employees of Allen County," said Brian Winegardner, Allen County commissioner president.

"During my tenure in office, whether it's been a full renovation or construction, the conversations been happening as it relates to our structures. Now we have an opportunity with guidance of using these ARPA dollars," commented Cory Noonan, Allen County commissioner.

Both say that the pandemic has changed how they will look at any future plans on making county government more efficient.
