The Allen County Board of Elections are ready for the upcoming August primary election.

The Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose issued a directive this week to county board of elections to resume preparations for another election for Ohio on August 2nd.
In Allen County, the board has said that they have already programed the primary election into their database, and are ready for residents to cast their vote.

"The hours are going to be typical, because we have the July 4th holiday, the deadline for registration for this election for those who are not registered is July 5th," said Kathy Meyer, Director of the Allen County Board of Elections. "We will be open until nine o'clock, we will start voting eight to five for the next three weeks on July 6th, then the last week eight to seven, and the weekend right before the election."
