LIMA, OHIO (WLIO) - Local businesses are making sure others have gifts and necessities over the holidays. Lima Memorial Care Coordination Team, with the help of Reineke Family Dealerships held a present drive for the clients of the Allen County Guardianship Services Board. The presents consisted of hygiene items and other snacks and personal items their clients enjoy. The Guardianship Services Board is a fairly new organization, and they currently are guardians for 35 adult individuals and taking on new clients all the time.
“We do help individuals in the Lima area that are deemed incompetent by Probate Court,” says Elizabeth Schaefer, Incoming Ex. Dir. Allen Co. Guardianship Services Board. “So, if you know of anybody that would be able to utilize our services or would need a guardian to help with decision making, homelessness, or other things and they are affiliated with the DD world or the mental health world, feel free to contact our office.”
