LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The Lima Refinery will conduct training exercises throughout the month of May.
Starting Tuesday, May 6th, Cenovus will hold firefighter training at its facility. As a result, there could be smoke and fire visible at their fire training center between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The training will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays during May. Signs will be posted along Fort Amanda Road to alert the public that the exercises are in progress.Â
Cenovus emphasized that safety is a top priority for their company and they want to be prepared in the unlikely event that something occurs.
