UNOH was awarded the “School of the Year” honor presented by Tomorrow’s Technician and sponsored by WIX Filters and O’Reilly Auto Parts.

University President Dr. Jeff Jarvis said the school’s excellence begins and ends with its students and staff.

"I think it starts with the faculty and the staff, building the programs, getting the training aids, all of those things that set up the students to come in, to get the training to go and have a productive career and their chosen work path," said Dr. Jarvis. "I think what's happened is the industry has seen our dedication to the industry, and has rewarded us with this honor, and I attribute it to the students first, and our faculty and staff, and we're just happy to be here today and to receive the award."

As part of the award, UNOH will receive $10,000 worth of WIX filters along with other donations.
