Man on the Cross Motorcycle Ministry brought several parking lots full of bikers together for the Rebuild Ride on Saturday. They planned to depart for Huntsville all at once at noon, but so many people, some from as far as Cleveland and Indiana, showed up that they had to leave in smaller groups over the course of an hour. All proceeds will be donated to the United Way of Logan County, who has already distributed nearly a million dollars to families impacted by the March 14th tornado.

"Last count we did was over 400; we had somebody; that was what, an hour ago? Somebody said there's over a thousand bikes there right now," said Andrew Whitley, who organized the Rebuild Ride with Steve Wirgau.

"I think in the biker community, a lot of people just want to help anyway that they can, and a lot of people think bikers are way different than that, but it's more about helping people," Wirgau added.

With a donation of $20 per bike, the ride was able to raise over $21,000 to help Indian Lake residents pay for anything like insurance, housing, or repair costs.
