LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Plans to improve the area of exit 120 on I-75 into Shawnee Township were shared during the Shawnee Optimist Club meeting. The owner from F.A.S.T, Tim Lones, was on hand to discuss their plans to improve the area, first starting with clean up and hopefully leading to improvements of road structure and the possibility of a wider bridge on I-75. There are other steps that are being looked at, including dealing with the railroad tracks on Breese Road to the highway. But it all starts with first improving the look of the area.
“Really the first phase is we just want to get that area cleaned up,” says Tim Lones, owner of F.A.S.T. “It just needs to look better. It needs to be mowed regularly. We need to clean up the four quadrants. We need to get the railroad area cleaned up. We need to help those local businesses with getting their properties cleaned up.”
More beautification efforts will be held over the coming weeks.
