ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Lima teen gets 14 years in prison for his role in the death of Jaden Halpern in 2022.
19-year-old Jaquan Glenn pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of involuntary manslaughter. Glenn was facing murder, aggravated robbery, and burglary charges. He was one of six teens that plotted to rob 17-year-old Halpern, by trying to lure him out of the home. But when he didn't come out, some of the teens rushed in. Halpern's father fired a shot, which hit his son, killing him.
Bryanna Houston and Keion Darden pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery and got a 23-year sentence. Khyrese Garner pled no contest to murder and was sentenced to 15 years to life. The other two teens are also charged with murder, their cases are going through the Allen County Juvenile Court.
