ADA, OH (WLIO) - Students at Ohio Northern University getting the chance to hear from an Ohio Supreme Court Justice Tuesday afternoon.
Justice Pat DeWine made a stop at Ohio Northern University to speak with students on the topic of "The Role of Justice". He gave an update on what's going on in Columbus, as well as discussed his philosophy that judges don't make the law, but enforce it fairly, that way judges can create an environment where people feel safe. He also says that he appreciates the chance to speak with students that are just making their way into the law world.
"I always enjoy the chance to talk to law students about the judiciary and our Constitution and it's really inspiring a lot of times to talk to young students and hear what they're thinking," commented Justice Pat DeWine.
