VAN WERT, OH (WLIO) - A Van Wert man pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges he is facing related to a September suspicious death.
48-year-old Larry Andrus entered his plea on five charges, including murder, strangulation, and felonious assault. On September 30th, Van Wert police officers were called to Ohio Health to investigate the suspicious death of 59-year-old Roy Watts. An autopsy ruled Watts's death a homicide.
Andrus went on the run and was captured at a Florida bus station on November 8th by the U.S. Marshals Service. Bond has been set at half a million dollars, and he has a pretrial hearing set for December 20th.
