LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - They have been transforming the lives of families facing homelessness in Lima and Allen County for nearly two decades.

Lima-Allen County Family Promise is the only shelter in the area that keeps families together during homelessness. The program provides stability as families work to regain their independence. Last year, 39 families, including 78 children, received assistance, with more than 13,000 meals served. The organization relies heavily on donations to fulfill its mission and hopes the community recognizes the need.
