Lima Family YMCA annual campaign

It has been serving Lima and the surrounding community for 129 years and is looking to do so for many more years.

The Lima Family YMCA is in the midst of their annual campaign to raise money to help those who may not be able to afford a membership the chance to experience what the YMCA has to offer. The program verifies the financial need and provides scholarships to youth, families and individuals for a specific class or activity.

"So the focus of the Lima Family YMCA specifically is about youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility and through our scholarship program we believe that the Y is a place for everyone to come and to be involved and to belong," commented Lima Family YMCA CEO, Jared Lehman.

If you would like to support the Lima Family YMCA you can do so on line at their website, by the U.S. Postal Service, or on site at the YMCA. They are a charitable 501(c)(3) organization. The campaign runs through June 9, 2017.
