It is an issue that service clubs across the nation are facing, how to recruit new members to keep the clubs active?

The Lima Kiwanis Club hearing from the Ohio District Governor David Kuhn about the need for additional membership and how to recruit them. He says Lima is doing well in the cultivation of younger members in their service leadership programs. They have programs in the Lima City Schools, Heir Force Academy, Ohio State Lima, and adults with disabilities through the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

"We have a lot of past governors that live throughout different parts of the state and they need to help me and my team start boosting and building these clubs and making them more viable so we can help the communities grow and have what Lima has here because this is phenomenal," stated David Kuhn, Kiwanis Ohio district governor.
Kuhn says that clubs are struggling to get members in the age range of 22 to 36 years of age. He also believes that Kiwanis as an organization needs to take a look at some requirements to adapt them to meet the busier lifestyle of people in this day and age.
