A Lima man who was indicted by the Allen County Grand Jury back in November of this year has waived his right to a speedy trial.
Jamale A. Fox signed a speedy trial waiver in court on Wednesday that will postpone his jury trial to allow his lawyer more time to prepare for the case.
Fox was indicted by the Allen County Grand Jury on one count of Felonious Assault and one count of improperly discharging a Firearm at or into a Habitation or a School Safety Zone. Both counts come with a three-year firearm specification.
The indictment says that the incident occurred on or about October 5th, 2021.
