A Lima man pleads guilty to assaulting his wife by trying to run her over with his car.
As part of a deal, James Boroff pleaded guilty to one count of felonious assault. Another felonious assault charge and a charge of violating a protection order have been dropped. On June 26th, Boroff allegedly tried to hit his wife with his car in a hospital parking lot. Because of a recent law change, he's facing an indefinite sentence and maximum $15,000 fine. A pre-sentence investigation has been ordered with sentencing scheduled for October 17th.
