Police in Lima called out just after 7 p.m. Monday on reports of gunfire in the 300 block of Calumet Avenue.
Police say a couple of homes were struck, but it appears those shots were not targeted but connected to gunplay in the street. Officers on the scene searched for shell casings and bullets. A detective unit was called in but there's no indication that anyone was injured at the scene. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
