The Lima teen accused in the shooting death of Da'Veon Petaway has been indicted on two charges by the Allen County Grand Jury.
16-year-old Albert McDowell if facing a murder charge and a felonious assault both with a firearm specification, which will add an additional three years to his sentence if convicted. McDowell is accused of killing Petaway in front of Meat City on March 7th. McDowell fled the area and was captured a month later around Sidney.
McDowell was in juvenile court but his case has been moved to common pleas court, where he is awaiting his first court appearance.
