Man with probation ankle monitor arrested after fleeing Findlay police on motorcycle

FINDLAY, OH (WLIO) - A man under probation was arrested after leading Findlay police on an eight-mile pursuit. Around 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon, the Findlay Police Department attempted to stop Gage Klopp on S. Blanchard Street, who was driving a motorcycle without a visible license and had failed to stop at a stop sign. Klopp fled the scene, committed several more traffic violations, and reached speeds of over 125mph. The pursuit ended after about 8 miles when the officer lost sight of Klopp, but it was discovered that Klopp was under probation. He was later located and taken into custody by tracking his ankle monitor. He is currently being held at the Hancock County Justice Center on charges of failure to comply and possession of drug paraphernalia.
