The Shawnee Township Fire Department will be getting 8 communication headsets for their trucks.

"It's hearing protection for the firefighters inside the apparatus. There's a lot of noise when responding to a call. We need to protect our firefighters and their hearing to prevent hearing loss down the road," commented Chief Austin Miller, Shawnee Township Fire Department.
