The two adult men arrested in connection to the shooting death of a 17-year-old Lima teen make their initial appearance in court.
18-year-old Keion Darden and 18-year-old Jaquan Glenn both appeared by video in Lima Municipal Court. They were each charged with one count of aggravated robbery, and both entered a not guilty plea.
Thursday they will appear in court for their preliminary hearing where the cases will more than likely be bound over to common pleas court and presented to a grand jury where additional charges are expected to be added, including murder. Acting judge Richard Warren continued each of their bonds at $900,000.
Lima police were called to a home invasion at 764 West Lane Avenue on the morning of June 10th where they found 17-year-old Jaden Halpern dead of a gunshot wound. This is the first murder of 2022 for the city of Lima.
