"A downtown that is very enviable with our DORA district, a façade program," said Steve Henderson, Wapakoneta Interim Mayor. "Our citizens get involved, and in the surrounding areas. I met a gentleman from Cincinnati, that just happened to stop, he googled restaurants and stopped by J Marie's. You know, it's that small-town feel that brings everyone together."

"My message today is going to be how in this community, county, and school, there is something that you can always be certain about, and that is we always do what is best for kids," said Aaron Rex, Wapakoneta City Schools Superintendent. "This is a time of uncertainty in the world, there is always things happening, the certainty is that in Auglaize County and Wapakoneta City Schools we are always going to do what is best for our kids.
