VAN WERT, OHIO (WLIO) -A Van Wert man was arrested after a stabbing incident Monday night.
Daniels admitted that he was intoxicated and pulled a knife on two people at the home.
According to the Van Wert Police Department, 33-year-old Thurman Daniels has been charged with felonious assault. The incident happened at 10:40 PM Monday at 321 S. Race St. Officers were called for a domestic violence incident. Daniels admitted that he was intoxicated and pulled a knife on two people at the home. He cut a woman in the hand and in the face who was trying to protect herself. Thurman was injured by the third person who used a knife for protection. Daniels is in the Van Wert County Correctional Facility. The case will be presented to the Van Wert County Prosecutor’s Office for possible further charges.
