Wounded Warrior road trip stops at engine plant

A dream car for many stops by the Lima Ford Engine Plant in an effort to build dream homes for wounded veterans.

This summer, volunteers for Wounded Warriors Family Support are taking a road trip across the country.  During the High 5 Tour, volunteers will travel more than 26,000 miles in a 2014 Mustang GT 500.  The car is stopping in more than 60 cities in the lower 48 states.

While in Lima, the group stopped by the Lima Ford Engine Plant.  Plant manager Mike Felix stopped by to sign his support for the organization.  The goal of the trip is to raise $1 million towards building smart homes for two wounded vets.

The tour group also stopped at two retirement homes in Lima.  Their next stops are Fort Wayne and Chicago.
