Shawnee stays unbeaten in WBL with win over St. Marys

LIMA (WLIO) — Shawnee continued its strong run through Western Buckeye League play with a 61-34 win over St. Marys at Lappin Gymnasium.
The Indians built a 37-16 halftime lead behind big plays from Beckett and Trevick Bertke. Beckett sparked the offense early, while Trevick added key defensive stops and a buzzer-beating three to close the first half.
Luke Marshall added a long-range bucket in the second half as Shawnee pulled away to improve to 8-0 in league play.
