ST. JOHNS, Ohio (WLIO) — Two St. John’s seniors officially announced the next steps in their collegiate athletic careers during National Signing Day ceremonies on Wednesday.
Senior golfer Parker Will signed with Defiance College, where he will continue his career as a member of the Yellow Jackets.
Will leaves St. John’s as one of the program’s most accomplished golfers, earning first-team All–Midwest Athletic Conference honors three times and qualifying for the state tournament twice during his career with the Bluejays.
Also signing was senior wrestler Edward Kessen, who committed to Central Michigan University.
Kessen made school history last winter by becoming the first wrestler from Delphos St. John’s to win a state championship. He will continue his wrestling career with the Chippewas.
Both athletes were recognized for their achievements and future opportunities as they prepare to compete at the collegiate level.
