Allen Co. OH (WLIO) - One local council works together to provide the resources that children and their families can use in a time of need. The Allen County Family and Children 1st Council is made up of more than 40 agencies, organizations, and parent representatives. Their goal is to coordinate systems and services while engaging and empowering families. Monday the group received an update about Allen County Juvenile Court.
“I think because juvenile court comes into contact with a wide range of children and families in the community, it's important that we both engage with our community partners,” says Berlin Carroll, A.C. Probate & Juvenile Court Administrator. “We listen to our community partners. We are aware of the efforts that they're doing so that our resources both human and financial can be spent in a way that helps foster and build the best community possible.”
The council meets monthly at the Allen County Ohio Means Jobs Workforce Development Center.
