LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The fun in downtown Lima continues to grow as more businesses participate in the “Third Thursdays” series.

Next week will mark the final summer edition of the event, which promises to be the biggest yet. Lima’s Farmers Market will return, along with the “Cruise In on Main” featuring the Buckeye Cruisers and two additional restaurants participating in the “Taste of Downtown.” A ’90s throwback event is also planned at the Social House. Organizers will announce the launch of the first trail in the Local History Hunts, part of the state’s 250th celebration.

Downtown Lima launches local history trail during last summer Third Thursday

“It’s going to be a adventure through Lima to explore the local Lima history. There are going to be placards mounted downtown and various areas throughout the city. You will be able to find information about the trail on visitgreaterlima.com and we will also have a table set up at Third Thursdays where you can get some hands on in person experience as well,” said Cricket Rodriguez, executive director of Downtown Lima.

While this is the last summer Third Thursday, Rodriguez said more Thursday events are planned, and downtown Lima will announce details soon.
