ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A new, but old event is coming back to the Allen County Fair on Saturday and they are looking for participants.
If you have a vehicle that is the apple of your eye, be sure and enter the fair's car show. It hasn't been since the 1990s that the fair car show has been on the grounds. Registration is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the show from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. You enter through gate "Z" on the northwest side of the fairgrounds and it's open to anyone.
"We're looking for classics, anything you want to bring and show off to people. I mean if you have a project you're putting together and you're proud of it bring it out and show it up," said Brock Ackerman, car show chair.
There will be five People's Choice Awards given. Registration is $25 per vehicle which includes entry for two into the fair.
