The Cridersville Public Library, a branch of the Auglaize County Library system, was handing out grab-and-go holiday activity bags. They were full of crafts, puzzles, and more. The hope is to give the kids something to do over their Christmas vacation.

"We like to have something for families when they just want to run in real quick, grab a few books, and then they have something to keep the kids occupied during Christmas break. We know they're busy with stuff and so they might not always make it to a program but at least that way they still get a little bit of fun from the library while they're out of school for a few weeks," said Melissa Luthman, branch supervisor at the Cridersville Library.

The library also held a Christmas theme story time on Monday. Titles read included "Bear Stay Up for Christmas" and "Pete the Cat Saves Christmas". Reading wasn't all that was being had as the kids danced and sang their hearts out.
