Ft. Wayne man pleads not guilty to shooting in Convoy

A Ft. Wayne man pleaded not guilty to charges related to a shooting in Van Wert County. 36-year-old Brandon Fair is charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, two counts felonious assault, and aggravated robbery. Fair was arrested in connection to the shooting that took place on February 1st in Convoy. A second suspect is still being sought in the case.

Deputies say that two subjects entered an outbuilding at a residence on Elm Sugar Road where someone was living. There they assaulted and shot the resident. The 29-year-old victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The reason for the attack is currently unknown. Fair is being held on a $250,000 bond and will have his next pretrial in March.
