ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Mansfield man takes a plea deal before his trial was set to begin next week on charges from a stabbing incident that happened in March 2024.
A preliminary hearing was held for 30-year-old Rocky Hayner, who is also known as Paris Sheka, in Lima Municipal Court on March 12, 2024.
30-year-old Rocky Hayner pleaded guilty to the charges of aggravated burglary and felonious assault. He will be sentenced on those charges in January 2025.
During a preliminary hearing, Lima Police detectives said that Hayner rode a bicycle from Mansfield to confront a man who was seeing Hayner's ex-girlfriend. Hayner claimed he didn't like how the man was treating her. Detectives say the two fought, and Hayner stabbed him and left him with serious injuries.
