ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Scott Catlett will be spending a little more than 6 years in prison for abduction and gross sexual imposition charges.
The jury returned the verdict Friday morning. Jurors found him not guilty on the kidnapping charge, but instead, they found him guilty on the reduced charge of abduction. They also found him not guilty of rape, but guilty of gross sexual imposition. Back in 2021, Catlett allegedly held a man against his will and had sexual contact with him.
Catlett was out on parole at the time after serving prison time for kidnapping another man in 2018. Judge Jeffrey Reed sentenced Catlett to three years on the charges and gave him another three years in prison for committing the crimes while on parole.
