ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The trial begins for an Allen County man charged with a fatal shooting on New Year's Eve.
46-year-old Djuan McLaurin is facing two counts of murder and one count of felonious assault; each of the charges has a three-year gun specification.
Allen County sheriff's detectives say that McLaurin shot 41-year-old Sandros Boddie Jr. at McLaurin's home following an argument, just after 11 p.m. on December 31, 2023. Boddie died in the garage from the gunshot wound. The trial is expected to last two days.
