
Allen County Sheriff Matthew Treglia held a press conference Thursday morning for updates on Page's status.
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A Lima man with a warrant for crimes committed in 2022 was arrested in Las Vegas Wednesday night.

Leroy "Knowledge" Page was arrested and taken into custody by FBI agents.

Page is accused of a home invasion that took place in October of 2022, where he forced entry into a residence on Fraunfelter Road. He proceeded to assault the homeowners, resulting in serious injuries. Page then forced the residents to drive him to another location, where he then fled. The case was presented to the Allen County grand jury in January of 2023.

"Some of the charges he's being held on right now is felonious assault, kidnapping, aggravated burglary, having weapons under disability, and improper handling of a firearm," stated Sheriff Matthew Treglia, Allen County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff Treglia talked about what ultimately led to Page being located and apprehended.
"The final straw is basically your cell phones and things like that. That's what the subpoenas are; that's what the court orders are; that's what the search warrants are. If you plan on hiding, you probably shouldn't plan on ever using a phone again in your entire life," explained Sheriff Treglia.
Page is set for a court date in Clark County, Nevada, on August 5, 2024. We will provide more updates to this story as more information becomes available.
