Josie Dunham Diller's niece had this to say,

Diller had organized the Labor Day parade for many years as the secretary of the local American Postal Workers Union.
“She just loved doing everything for the kids. Just being around her nieces and her nephews. She loved just making all the kids happy, putting this parade on. I’m sure she loved making sure all the kids got plenty of candy. That would probably be her favorite part if I had to guess.”

Diller passed away last November.
