53-year-old Frank Alexander was sentenced after an Allen County jury found him guilty of 17 counts, including 10 counts of rape. There were three victims and the offenses occurred over a ten-year period starting in 2008. Two of the victims were under the age of 10 when the offenses started. Alexander didn't make any statement on the advice of his attorney because he is planning on appealing the conviction. But prosecutors say he did admit to Lima police detectives what he did to the victims.

“When he, the defendant, gave his statement to Detective Boss, he started with each one of these girls around the time that they were eight or nine years old,” says Destiny Caldwell, Allen County Assistant Prosecutor. “He would continue to groom them and then would move on to having vaginal intercourse.”
Alexander will also be classified as a tier three sex offender.
