LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A Lima man has been indicted on 58 sex-related charges for allegedly having sexual contact with a young girl over many years.
Sonny Cobb, 45, was indicted by an Allen County grand jury on 39 counts of rape, 17 counts of sexual battery, and one count of gross sexual imposition.
According to the indictment, the alleged offenses began in 2011, when the victim was about 5 years old, and continued until 2024.
Cobb is currently being held in the Allen County Jail on a $500,000 bond. He has a pretrial hearing scheduled the week of March 24th in Allen County Common Pleas Court.
